STEPS TOWARD PHASE IV

Dear Ones,

In our recent meeting the elders and I developed a plan outlining steps to Phase IV of our reopening plan. This is the framework we will use:

- Beginning Sunday, May 30th, you will no longer need to register to attend worship and seating will be open to sit where you would like, keeping in mind the need for social distancing. We will also have an area reserved for visitors so we can accommodate them safely.

- We will continue to require masks while entering and moving about the building which will come to an end the first Sunday of July. So, on July 4th you will no longer need to wear a mask unless you want to.

- Social distancing will be encouraged for all until we move fully to Phase IV in September.

- Those presenting with any cold/flu/allergy/covid symptoms are to stay home.

- Those who are in the vulnerable population are encouraged to be discreet in their live participation.

- We will continue with current nursery practices with the goal to return to full nursery in September.

- We will continue with current communion practices with the goal to return to regular practices in September.

- On Sunday, July 4th our service time will move to 9 am through Labor Day Weekend.

- During July & August we will provide outdoor gatherings so as to ramp up to a relaunch of all ministries in September.

- During the summer months we will also be working out new technologies needed for those ministries that need it - i.e. Zoom

- On Sunday, September 12th we will move fully to Phase IV of our reopening guidelines (unless something prohibits or changes).

- On Sunday, September 12th our service time will move to 10 am. We will also begin holding Sunday School at 8:30 am for all ages.

- We will then relaunch all ministries at their scheduled times

I trust that these steps will be a way for us to carefully move forward in a manner that glorifies the Lord. Pray for patience with each other and grace to care for the needs of the body gathered.

Blessings,

Pastor Bill

RETURNING TO PHASE III

On Sunday, March 14th, we will return to morning worship in the sanctuary following the guidelines necessary for the safety of all. The morning worship will be live streamed on YouTube and FaceBook taking the place of our current YouTube worship playlist. We will continue our small groups (DFG, Prayer Meeting, Committee Meetings, Bible Studies, Youth & Children's ministries) on Zoom. As the Spring approaches some of these groups will follow additional phasing yet to be announced, i.e. moving to in-person and live streamed. Those who are in the vulnerable population are encouraged to be cautious in their live participation.

As we return to Phase III we will continue to comply with the established guidelines given to us by our health officials. At this point we will require the wearing of masks while entering, leaving and moving about the building and highly recommend them while singing.

Please be advised of these symptoms of COVID-19 before entering the worship facility. Risks include:

a. Person has any of the following symptoms of COVID-19:

i. Fever (feeling feverish or a documented temperature of 100.4 degrees

Fahrenheit or higher);

ii. Respiratory symptoms such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat,

cough, or shortness of breath;

iii. Whole body symptoms such as muscle aches, chills, and severe fatigue;

iv. Changes in the person’s sense of taste or smell

b. Person has been in close contact with someone who is suspected or confirmed to

have COVID-19 in the past 14 days (NOTE: Healthcare workers caring for

COVID-19 patients while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment

should answer “no” to this question)

c. Person has traveled in the past 14 days either:

i. Internationally (outside the U.S.);

ii. By cruise ship; or

iii. Domestically (within the U.S.) outside of NH, VT, or ME on public

transportation (e.g., bus, train, plane, etc.)?

If any of these apply to you please stay home and seek the necessary medical assistance.

We will need to have a weekly registration for attendance as we continue maintaining social distancing in the sanctuary. You will need to register with me no later than Friday noon each week by either calling the church 529-7729 or emailing me directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The registration will be on a first come first serve basis as we are limited to 50% of our capacity which is 90 out of 180. You will be assigned a seat for each service based upon the need for keeping six foot social distancing and the number who have registered.

Those who will be assisting with the seating for the service will be masked.

Nursery and Children's Church will be provided. Social distancing skills will be practiced. The staff will be masked for the entire program until those restrictions are lifted.

If the restrooms need to be used it will be your responsibility to wipe down all surfaces before leaving the restroom. Children must be accompanied by an adult family member.

Blessings,

Pastor Bill

WCC - Phased Reopening

Dear Ones,

I am truly grateful for the many prayers prayed for the elders and me as we have contemplated the best plan to reopen our church. It has not been an easy decision and we are blessed to know you have covered us in prayer. After much prayer and discussion we have decided to open in a phased approach. This approach will give us the opportunity to gather again slowly as we believe nothing has really changed since the stay at home order was given other than permission to meet under very strict guidelines. Please let the Lord lead in this as we desire to bring glory to His name as we wisely reopen.

With that said, we are planning on a four phased approach to reopening. Each phase will have a timeline that will depend upon the current conditions at hand as this pandemic continues to unfold. This plan is subject to change and will follow guidance by the Elders and recommendations by the State health officials.

PHASE ONE

Phase one is our current practice - Zoom meetings for small groups and YouTube worship on Sunday morning.

PHASE TWO

Phase two will begin on YTBD where we will supplement our morning worship on YouTube with an evening worship gathering outside at our new property. This Sunday night service will be held at 6 pm and will last an hour or so. Fellowship can be held afterwards for those interested in staying later. We would encourage you to bring a lawn chair to sit in and practice social distancing i.e. 6 feet apart as family groups and mask wearing when you are not able to maintain social distancing just as advised when we go out into the public. Parking for this event will be at the church and the new property, encouraging the younger folks to park at church and walk down the hill. Those who are in the vulnerable population are encouraged to stay home.

PHASE THREE

Return to morning worship in the sanctuary following the guidelines necessary for the safety of all. The morning worship would then be livestreamed taking the place of our current YouTube worship. We would continue the evening service and, in addition, our small groups (DFG, Prayer Meeting, Committee Meetings, Bible Studies, Youth & Children's ministries) will have the opportunity to meet live at church and those meetings will be shared on Zoom for those who need to stay home. Those who are in the vulnerable population are encouraged to be cautious in their live participation.

PHASE FOUR

Phase four will be the new normal. We will return to what we knew before the pandemic with compliance to any necessary safety guidelines. Each of our ministries will have a livestream/Zoom component. Those who are in the vulnerable population are encouraged to be discreet in their live participation.

To reiterate - the movement to the next phase will follow guidance by the Elders and recommendations by the State health officials.

Blessings,
